Our Approach
NetStar-1 has developed our methodology based on a standard process that ensures each solution has all the critical components required within the Federal and commercial environment. This process ensures that all solutions maximize customer value and include the following:
- A standard PMI based Project Management process and Plan
- System Development Life-Cycle Documentation
- FISMA based Information Assurance Plan
- A Communications Plan built around the Federal Government to include built in presentations to the appropriate Executive Boards such as the Technical Review Boards, Enterprise Architecture Review Boards, etc.
- Financial Plan that includes outreach to other operational and compliance entities within an organization to ensure the full costs of the solution are captured and managed.
- Disaster Recovery and COOP and COOG is built into each of our solutions from the beginning rather then being added as an after thought. The DR solution has multiple options that can be adjusted to the customer's specific technical and budgetary needs.
- Enterprise Architecture is included with each solution based on an understanding of the Federal Governments Enterprise Architecture requirements and includes the information required to populate the standard OMB 300 business case and all the associated reference models to include the Performance Reference Model, the Technical Reference model, the service reference model.
