Industry Expert Joins NetStar-1 to Lead World-Class Identity Management Practice

NetStar-1 announced today that Frank Villavicencio – a veteran in the Identity Management space – has joined the company as Executive Director of Identity Services. Frank’s expertise in the Internet Security and Identity Management space, along with his many professional accomplishments, will be a true asset to the team.

Frank has more than 14 years of experience in Internet Security and Identity Management, spanning consulting, large implementations, business development, sales, product management and the invention of two awarded patents in the area of web access management, as well as published papers and public speaking engagements.

Frank holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, cum laude, graduating from Simon Bolivar University, Venezuela. He also holds a Master of Science in Information Networking degree from Carnegie Mellon University’s Information Networking Institute.

Since June 2007, Frank has been part of Citigroup’s Managed Identity Services Product Management team, focusing on strategic partnership and business development programs at a global level. Prior to Citigroup, Frank worked at Oblix, Inc. and later at Oracle Corporation, after Oracle’s acquisition of Oblix. Frank has gained an international reputation for his exceptional leadership abilities, technical knowledge and consistently positive attitude even during the most challenging times.

Frank will be reporting to me through our Integrated Solutions organization, which is chartered with developing and delivering business-critical support services to a wide range of industry leaders.”

Frank resides in Secaucus, New Jersey with his wife and two children.
