I work with a wide range of departments inside and outside the company. I'm truly thankful for the opportunity and I’m fortunate to be a part of NetStar-1, Inc. I love my job because it is so diverse - I work closely with our customers, vendors and co-workers.

I initially started as part-time. When I was offered a permanent full-time position, there were less than 18 employees. I felt like I was being offered a great opportunity to grow with a new and innovative company.

NetStar-1 is a great place to work. If you work hard you will be given opportunities to advance. I would tell perspective employees that they determine how far they will go within the company – if you work hard your efforts will be rewarded.

I provide a wide range of system and network security solutions for a small set of clients. I enjoy the fact that I gain wide exposure to the latest technologies while working on some pretty challenging security requirements. NetStar-1 has done a great job in providing on-going training in order to enhance my skills.

I’ve enjoyed working with a great team and having the support of well-respected managers. The best part of my job is knowing that what we do for our clients make a difference.

I enjoy helping people understand the federal regulations so that people can go through the process as quickly and effectively as possible. Also, helping the EPA streamline their certification process is very rewarding.

When you work at NetStar-1, the lines of communication are open. Weekly meetings tie us into what is going on at the corporate offices, weekly newsletters keep all employees involved with corporate and other parts of the business. The company’s growth continues to be handled in a professional manner and management places extraordinary emphasis on communicating changes well in advance and with great detail.

There is a great NetStar-1 team onsite - they're very supportive and fun to work with. There’s always someone there to with a listening ear, a hot cup of coffee or the occasional box of doughnuts! What I enjoy most is the fact that I'm constantly learning new skills both technical and interpersonal.

I just celebrated my one year anniversary in November. I decided to work for NetStar-1 after speaking with the recruiter and reviewing the company website. I felt the corporate culture would provide the kind of stability and professional growth I was seeking.

I’m responsible for the day-to-day operations of service delivery and project management for our commercial business in the Washington, DC area. But I’m also a billable resource, working on the design and deployment of enterprise-wide networks.

My work makes me feel good knowing I’m improving anything from how fast a hospital patient receives treatment, to ensuring the reliable delivery of information to emergency response personnel.

I came to work at NetStar-1 because the management team saw potential in me as an intern when I began my career as an IT professional 10 years ago. Managers here really want the best for you and want to assist in your professional development. I do the same now with the employees I manage. Most of the friends I have in the industry frequently change jobs to enable their growth but that hasn’t been necessary for me. If you’re willing to put in the hard work it takes to succeed as an IT professional, you will succeed with NetStar-1.
